Lithium Records presents : Ljubojna

The band has impassionedly played Macedonian music for six years already and announced it through the vocal expression of Vera Miloshevska. It is believed that she is a successor of the renowned Vanja Lazarova, Mirvet Belovska… A number of actors have recognized her divine voice. The critics call her Vera the Nightingale. Last but not the least people talk of her as a cafĂ© singer.

Two words brought Ljubojna to life, love (ljubov) and battle (boj). Its music is tied to the Macedonian life and founded on the Macedonian traditional music.

The idea of the band is to utter music as one universal language. A great experience lies behind the musicians’ devotedness and an art passed down from the masters of this music.

Then the music itself, European deep inside, though with fashions and influences from the East, creates a mix of sweet n’ salty tastes and elegance relieved by the feelings that sway and lead you to joyful sorrow. With an elegy dreamt, enlivened and shared between both sides of Via Egnatia, the East and the West, Ljubojna sings of the past and the present, of the unrepeatable, the genuine and the forever modern beat.
